Khao Takiab Temple is just a few kilometers south of Hua Hin.
The first thing you see when arriving at the Khao Takiab is the resident macaque Monkeys. Even though the monkeys are cute, they can be quite mischievous.
Shrines to both Buddhist and Hindu gods can be seen at Khao Takiab.
The main temple is on a hill just above the beach.
Its quite a steep climb to the top.
Once you get there, you are awarded with amazing panoramic views of Hua Hin, and out to the gulf of Thailand.
Devotees make offerings of flowers to and burn incense. Both of which have many different symbolic meanings in Buddhism.
It is not uncommon to see monks on the temple grounds.
And Just a short walk down hill from the main temple area, a Chinese style Buddhist temple featuring the Buddhist god Guan Yin with 1000 arms and 11 heads.
